Inaugural Wellington En Pointe Patron Cocktail Party
Event 31 March 2022 – A very generous $23,700 was raised at the inaugural Wellington En Pointe Patrons’ Cocktail Party to support the refurbishment of the dancers’ changing rooms, showers and well-being area at the St James Theatre.
Auckland En Pointe Patron Cocktail Party
Event 2 March 2022 – A very generous $42,000 was raised for 2022 RNZB projects including Musical Moves dance workshops with live musicians and Ballet in a Box performances.
The Firebird, Schools’ Performance
News August 2021 – Thanks to the generosity of Auckland En Pointe Patron Andy Coster, hundreds of students from a diverse range of schools attended a dedicated schools’ performance of The Firebird.
Event 11 April 2021 -The Foundation were thrilled to recently hold a private dinner in Wanaka to celebrate the Royal New Zealand Ballet being in town.
News March 2021 – “What’s in a name? That which we call a Royal by any other name would smell as sweet;”
Event 1 November 2020 – an exhibition of photos by Ballet Foundation Trustee Louise Binns raises over $60,000.
News December 2020 – the Foundation is thrilled to announce that it will fund a new Scholarship at the RNZB.
News December 2020 – Thanks to the support of an anonymous donor, the Foundation gave the Christchurch Ballet Society a $4,000 donation.
News November 2019 – A dedicated group of ballet supporters have banded together in Auckland.
Event 2 August 2019 – the Foundation and Logan Brown collaborate for Visa Wellington On a Plate Festival.
News March 2019 – Dame Trelise Cooper announced as Ballet Foundation Ambassador at an event in Nelson.
Event 15 November 2018 – Trustee Victoria Muir hosted a fundraising dinner at Madam Woo in Dunedin.
Event 12 May 2018 – the Governor General hosted the Ballet Foundation at a reception at Government House in Wellington.
Event 28 February 2018 – Rosie and Mark Dunphy host a performance and auction at their Auckland home, raising $120,000 for ballet in New Zealand.
Event 7 March 2017 – Prime Minister Bill English encourages guests to support the future of ballet in New Zealand.
