Dinner in Wanaka

The Royal New Zealand Ballet Foundation were thrilled to recently hold a private dinner in Wanaka to celebrate the Royal New Zealand Ballet being in town for their world premiere of two works at the opening night of the Festival of Colour. Guests enjoyed stunning food and hospitality by Lipsky & Sons and Marisco Vineyards supplied their premium sparkling wine, Diamond Heart, for this event.

Highlights included hearing a Foundation update from Chair, Jane Meares, why the Foundation Ambassador, Dame Trelise Cooper, supports the ballet, an update on news and exciting projects to come at the Royal New Zealand Ballet via Executive Director Lester McGrath and a behind the scenes insight from talented Choreographer in Residence Loughlan Prior.

The Mikhail Baryshnikov photograph was auctioned at the event and we are thrilled that this stunning piece is now off to its new home.
