Hannah O’Neill in Conversation with David McAllister – 13 August 2023

The Auckland Committee of the RNZB Foundation hosted a special conversation between Hannah O’Neil, étoile at the Paris Opera Ballet, and David McAllister, Acting Artistic Director of the Royal New Zealand Ballet.

Hannah O’Neill is the newest Danseuse Etoile at The Paris Opera Ballet and the first New Zealand to attain “Étoile” status at The Paris Opera Ballet.

Guests enjoyed hearing of Hannah’s journey from starting ballet in Japan, to Auckland Mt Eden Ballet Academy, to performing with the Paris Opera Ballet at Palais Garnier on the international stage.  Hannah is living the dream of every ballet dancer and she was an inspiration to the young dancers who attended.

The Foundation gives special thanks to St Cuthberts College for hosting this event.
