Melbourne Trip | The Australian Ballet

In September the RNZB Foundation’s Auckland Committee organised a special ballet trip to Melbourne for En Pointe Patrons. It was an action-packed couple of days which included a visit to the dance studios of The Australian Ballet, and the company’s Production Centre which houses their extensive collection of costumes, props and scenery. Patrons also meet with members of the company’s philanthropy team, took a tour of The Australian Ballet School, and attended the world-premiere season of Oscar; Christopher Wheeldon's ballet based on the life and writings of Oscar Wilde.
