British High Commission Reception

In July Wellington En Pointe Patrons enjoyed an event at the British High Commissioner’s residence to welcome Neil Brown and Catherine Smith to New Zealand and celebrate UK creativity in the arts. Neil and Catherine were visiting from the UK to stage and oversee Sir Wayne McGregor’s work Infra, for the RNZB season Solace: dance to feed your soul.

High Commissioner Iona Thomas was joined by RNZB’s Artistic Director, Ty King-Wall, to discuss the upcoming RNZB production and provided insights into the season, including Sir Wayne McGregor’s Infra.
